Jafir’s love for art began while attending Lafayette College studying under Professor Curlee Holton, a world renowned African American artist. Jafir’s art is influenced by W.H. Johnson, Hale Woodruff, Romare Bearden, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh and Diego Rivera.
